FAQs

HOW DO I BOOK A REGULAR SESSION?

It's easy! Just contact me via facebook or email and we will discuss available dates and times. Sessions run anywhere from one hour to two hours. It depends on how cooperative the clients are. ( When I say this, I'm referring to children. Yes, I have one so I know they have short attention spans.) In this time span you are allowed to change outfits. It is important to understand that your appointment is not secured until you have paid a $35 non-refundable booking fee.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU SHOOT A YEAR?

Yes, I am a wedding photographer. However, I do not overbook myself. Weddings get my utmost attention. While I am editing I want to make sure you are receiving the BEST quality possible. I do not book 2 weddings in a day. When you book me, you have me for the agreed amount of time. I typically book myself two weddings a month.

DO I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT FOR OUR WEDDING ?

I do require that each couple sign a contract with agreed terms and conditions. Once you have decided you want me to photograph your wedding, we will plan a time to meet. At our meeting we will discuss and plan your engagement and bridal sessions. I am there to answer all questions you may have. BBP offers numerous packages that work with ANY budget. These packages start at $950 and go up to $2300. You will also be required to make a deposit of 40% of the total wedding package price. This is non-refundable.

WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I'm a Canon girl ! I have two Canon DSLRs that I shoot with. I have numerous lenses that work with both of my cameras, depending on the shot I want. I am a natural lighting photographer. However, I love using speedlights and strobes to create a different and unique lighting effect.

SHOULD I DO BRIDALS AND ENGAGEMENTS?

YES... YES AND YES! If you don't I can promise you will regret it. I have this question asked too many times. Engagements are a chance to capture you guys in a comfortable setting. It also gives you a chance to get to know me and my tendencies as a photographer. We will become family by the end of this journey. :) Bridals give brides a chance to do a test run of their hair and makeup. This way if you are unsure you will see how it photographs and you will have time to make changes if needed.

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS ON MAKEUP?

Stay away from foundations with SPF in it. When you have a flash bouncing off of your face, you tend to get a white "ghost" face. Also, no shimmer as it tends to pick up reflections from the flash as well. This is mostly for night time photography. Wedding receptions etc. I have brides ask me on coverage. It's always best to apply a bit heavier than you are use to. You want the makeup to last!
